Join me in making art on the North Shore at the Grand Marais Art Colony!

No matter your skill level or experience level, Sarah will provide you with tools along the way to fit your comfort level. Students will start by learning technical drawing methods, including the use of geometric shapes to build a figure, and the idea of using anchors to ensure proportionate drawing. Then students will move on to work with techniques specific to drawing with pens, including cross hatching and approaches to shading that can help generate texture. Sarah will also demonstrate how to blend markers in a way that allows for dynamic layering and a painterly quality.

Registration for this class remains open until May 11, 2019. Please register before this date.

It is going to be a wonderful time! We hope you join us!
